Working with Spa Director Hans-Peter Veit
Working with a prestigious spa director
Hans-Peter Veit is one of the industry’s most celebrated spa directors, having helped a number of high-profile spas to become some of Europe’s most desirable spa destinations. He was named 'Health & Spa Manager of the Year 2022’ by the renowned BILANZ hotel ranking. Having grown up in the German spa town of Baden-Baden, Veit's philosophy is one that puts health and wellbeing at the forefront, encouraging long term health in clients. Veit is passionate about making wellbeing accessible to all; his vision is that guests should be equipped with the power to make long-term changes after they leave their spa experience.
Relationship with Fashionizer Spa
Fashionizer Spa has collaborated with Hans-Peter Veit on three projects so far, to design several bespoke uniforms for some of the world's most luxurious spas. In 2017, Fashionizer Spa was appointed by Hans-Peter Veit to create a range of luxury spa uniforms for Villa Stéphanie Spa, part of the Oetker collection Brenner’s Park Hotel in Baden Baden. Following the success of Villa Stéphanie, Hans-Peter Veit introduced Fashionizer Spa to Nescens at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Switzerland in 2018. In 2020, Hans-Peter Veit moved to his new role as Spa director for The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland, where he is again collaborating with Fashionizer Spa on new uniforms for his team.
Villa Stephanie Spa & Wellbeing
Baden-Baden's reputation as home to the world's most elegant spas is not disappointed by Villa Stéphanie. The magnificent house covers 5000 square meters, in which guests enjoy recuperative and luxurious treatments, spanning a sauna, plunge pool, indoor pool and treatment rooms. Focussing on a colour palette of clay and grey, the uniforms include a wrap tunic for ladies and a bespoke tunic for men, with each item embroidered with the crest of the Spa and the name of the therapist.
Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa
Spa Nescens is set amid the peaks of the Bernese Oberland, providing a luxurious contrast to the indulgence within. The steam baths, relaxation rooms, fitness centre and massage rooms encourage guests to leave everyday life behind as they indulge in the spa's exceptional wellness offerings. Fashionizer Spa created a bespoke design to encapsulate the effortless luxury and natural beauty of the spa's setting. The outcome was a cream tunic and grey trouser set, crafted from our Cotton Performance Fabric (CPF), paired with our Bella cardigan in grey.
Grand Resort Bad Ragaz
The Spa at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz uses the thermal waters from Tamina George to help guests rejuvenate body, mind and soul in a breath-taking collection of baths. For centuries, these waters have been used as a source of healing, and the spa continues this ancient practice throughout its wide range of impressive facilities and luxurious treatments. His vision for Fashionizer Spa's design is inspired by the natural resources that are central to the spa, working in collaboration with the spa team and the head housekeeper. The concept currently being developed includes navy and pale blue, to reflect the importance of water, in a wrap tunic with Aria trousers for ladies, and a bespoke tunic with Leo trousers for men. Embroidered logos finish the designs with understated exclusivity.
Feedback
Hans Peter Veit says:
“I have worked with Fashionizer Spa on a number of projects, and each time I am delighted with the uniforms they create. They listen carefully to my vision for the spa and the staff, and then design garments that perfectly reflect the considerations of each individual project. What’s more, the high-quality fabrics, comfortable designs and professional, modern fits ensure staff look smart and feel happy in their uniforms, which is a vital part of any spa experience.”
