Six Senses Fashionizer Spa Uniforms

The Spa

Six Senses spas are known for their commitment to sustainability, luxury and personalised wellness. Located in some of the most beautiful parts of the world, from Bali to Courchevel, they now have more than 31 spas, some of which are their own dedicated hotels and resorts and others that work in partnership with other hotel destinations. All their spas however, are characterised by the same commitment to sustainability, personalised wellness and taking care of their surrounding environments.

The Uniforms

In 2013 Six Senses were looking for someone who could design, manufacture and deliver a design that would work in all their spas around the world. Using the brand colours of bright olive, pebble grey and pearl white, we made  bespoke uniforms including skirts, trousers, jackets and tunics, tailored to the use of all therapists and spa reception staff. The uniforms needed to be luxurious, practical, smart and eco friendly. We chose to use our Cotton Performance Fabric (CPF), a fabric made from organic cotton and polyester created from upcycled plastic bottles, because it doesn’t crease easily and is both hard wearing and breathable, perfect for the tropical environments of many Six Senses spas. Since then, those original designs have continued to remain a relevant and successful part of the Six Senses brand, adding just a few new styles to the collection in 2019.

Feedback

"It was a challenging journey to have uniforms that ticked all our boxes and it was with great pleasure and excitement that we presented our new bespoke uniforms in 2014. Following the design process and wearer trial, much discussion and changes were made to come to the final version, which I was delighted with. Debbie and her team from Fashionizer have worked diligently and five years on we are incredibly happy and, most importantly, our staff are too! Both the look as well as the quality are fantastic. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Fashionizer for many years to come." - Anna Bjurstam, Vice President Spas and Wellness
