Linen is a textile made from the fibres of the flax plant. The fibres are very absorbent and garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather. Linen is a versatile fabric that looks both stylish and relaxed.
The flax plant requires the least amount of water and very little or no chemicals to cultivate, making linen one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable fabrics of today. Additionally, all parts of the flax plant can be used in some type of production, whether it be garments, nutritional supplements or wood finishing products. Furthermore, linen is one of the most biodegradable fabrics in fashion history, so when untreated (i.e. not dyed) it is fully biodegradable.
Our Linen Rich fabric contains 56% Linen and 43% viscose (also a natural fibre, made from wood) and 1% Elastane which gives it additional stretch and flexibility. It is treated with Silverplus® for added freshness.
This luxurious spa collection is ideal for creating a sophisticated yet relaxed look.
