"I was extremely impressed by Fashionizer's ability to translate our branding and strong colours into a simple and effective look paying great attention to the details. Their organisation, planning and critical path structure meant I did not need to worry about uniforms during the very busy preopening period. I look forward to working with the Fashionizer team again."
The marketing team at Lifehouse had created a strong brand identity which included a distinctive logo and a strong colour palette. They wanted the spa uniforms to enhance the marketing concept and invoke the casual spa environment. The client was keen that the uniforms' fabrication should be majority cotton based, and be environmentally friendly.
The Look -
The strong mulberry and fuchsia colour scheme and floral brand identity created a strong theme through the uniforms, Fashionizer offered a cotton based casual look throughout. The Spa uniforms for both male and female staff were designed and made from Fashionizer's exclusive Cotton Performance Fabric (CPF) which is cool, comfortable and stretches with the wearer. The fuchsia and mulberry detailing was used to highlight the mainly clay colour garments, used in the women's wrap dress for Front of House receptionists. A wrap style tunic with trousers was designed for the female spa staff, while male spa staff wear short sleeve, polo style cotton shirts with matching trousers.
For the hospitality areas, Fashionizer designed pure cotton, mulberry polo shirts with branded designs and a clay and fuchsia rib trim, matched with flat fronted, slouchy chinos with the company’s pink floral logo detailing on the pockets and worn with canvas belts and matching fleeces. Ensuring continuity throughout the spa and hotel area, the uniforms crossed over to the male Front of House staff. For the Food and Beverage team working in 'The Strawberry Tree', a funky mulberry apron was added with the branded logo and fuchsia trim to complement the look. Creating a truly branded but relaxed casual bespoke feel.
